DRM State Minister: “1,485 Residents Were Evacuated”
State Minister for the Disaster Risk Management Authority Leon Lundy says that evacuation of the southern islands is completed – with 1,485 residents evacuated before suspension of air operations. Hurricane Melissa is now a Category 2 storm and expected to impact various islands today.
