Ace Magashule's personal assistant, when he was Free State premier, has been arrested in the United States. The National Prosecuting Authority is not yet saying what charges Moroadi Cholota is facing. But, the NPA says as soon as she has appeared in court in America, the extradition process to get her to South Africa will get underway. Previously, the state alleged that Cholota was instrumental in its R255-million asbestos corruption case, as she is alleged to have solicited money from business people on behalf of Magashule. He and the other accused appeared in the High Court in Bloemfontein on Monday, but the matter was postponed. This due to the arrest of Cholota, some accused still needing to sort out legal representation, and others being unwell and unable to appear in court. eNCA’s Siphamandla Goge reports. #DStv403
