Suite à l’explosion au dépôt de carburant de Kaloum, dans la capitale guinéenne, les autorités ont décidé de la fermeture des stations-services à travers le pays. La situation a entraîné une crise de carburant avec de nombreuses plaintes de la part des citoyens. C’est le cas dans la commune urbaine de Mandiana, où les prix du litre sur le marché noir sont à la hausse, variant entre 20 mille et 50 mille francs guinéens. Le mécontentement est de taille chez les citoyens, rapporte le correspondant de Guineematin.com basé dans la préfecture. Les citoyens de Mandiana sont désemparés suite au manque de carburant. Les spéculateurs, comme toujours, profitent de ces occasions pour « torpiller » les populations en vendant le carburant à des prix ahurissants. Orpailleurs et autres corps de métiers sont affectés par cette nouvelle donne. Moussa Diakité, domicilié au quartier Hèrèmakono, taximan de profession, en est une des victimes. « Ce mardi matin, après la fermeture de la station-service, j’ai acheté un litre à 20 000 francs guinéens. Ailleurs, on fait payer aux gens le litre jusqu’à 50 000 GNF. Vraiment, l'Etat n'a qu'à nous aider parce que c'est avec mon taxi que je gagne de quoi vivre… ». Même son de cloche chez Aly Touré. « Je suis un conducteur de taxi. Mais avec le manque de carburant, c'est la population qui sera fatiguée, parce que sans le carburant, nous nous ne pouvons pas travailler. Ils n'ont qu'à ouvrir les stations. Si non, le marché noir revend le carburant à n'importe quel prix », a-t-il lancé. Pour sa part, Souleymane Franceila Diakité, commerçant de son état, alerte sur une possible spéculation jamais connue du prix de carburant. « Vraiment, depuis que les stations sont fermées, on ne voit plus même un litre d'essence en ville. Ils ont tout caché dans les chambres. Donc, l'Etat n'a qu'à rouvrir les stations, sinon le pire sera inévitable, parce que le marché noir ne fait qu'augmenter le prix du carburant », a-t-il laissé entendre.
