PATRICIA CHARLES LECTURE [22ND JUNE 2026] – The lasting impact of World War II on the Caribbean was explored last Thursday during the 12th Patricia Charles Memorial Lecture hosted by the UWI Global Campus Saint Lucia and the JQ Charles Group of Companies at the Morne Fortune campus. Delivered by the founder of the Logbook Project, the presentation examined the region’s wartime legacy while encouraging greater research into the Caribbean’s often overlooked histories.
