53rd Independence People's Rush
The People’s Rush Parade has officially begun, with the Roots Junkanoo Group first on the lineup for The Bahamas’ 53rd Independence celebrations. Bahamians have lined Bay Street as the festivities get underway. Roots paid tribute to the late Keno “KJ” Gordon Jr. in the backline section, where he proudly performed before his passing.
