53rd INDEPENDENCE
The Raising of the Flag Ceremony was held in Rawson Square this morning, marking the start of the nation’s Independence Month with performances by the Royal Bahamas Police Force Band. Minister of Tourism, Glenys Hanna-Martin, and Minister of Culture, Leslie Miller-Brice, were in attendance as the country officially began its countdown to the 53rd Anniversary of Independence on July 10.
