$85M Glass Window Bridge Renovation In The Works
An $85 million renovation of the iconic Glass Window Bridge is in the works, with plans also calling for a new dock and entertainment spaces for both Bahamians and tourists.
Works and Family Island Affairs Minister Clay Sweeting says the ministry is working with the Ministry of Finance to finalize plans for the project.
Sweeting also told reporters outside this morning’s Cabinet meeting that materials needed to repair the Fresh Creek Bridge are already in the country, with work expected to begin once weather conditions improve.
