AGRICULTURE MINISTRY BOOSTS NUMBER OF SNAKE HANDLERS AMID GROWING CONCERNS
Agriculture Minister Lisa Jawahir is encouraging residents to contact Forestry Officers whenever they encounter the venomous pit viper, commonly known as the Fer-de-lance.
This appeal comes as the Ministry increases its cohort of trained snake handlers in response to growing public concern over a recent rise in snake sightings across the island.
