AG’s Office Seeking Public Feedback On Proposed Legislation
2 hours ago
Attorney General Wayne Munroe says his office is seeking feedback from the general public and NGOs on four pieces of legislation currently out for consultation, including the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA).
Munroe also responded to FNM Senator Rick Fox, who criticized the three-month vacation period, saying senators had only been in office for about a month.
Munroe said there is still work to be done even when you’re not sitting in the Senate, adding that he has not heard from anyone in the FNM caucus regarding FOIA or the other legislation.
