BCB Exec. Chairman: This Is a Sad Time For Us
Following a structural fire at ZNS’ South Beach Transmitting site early Friday morning, BCB Executive Chairman Picewell Forbes has confirmed that over $1.2M worth of equipment was lost during the fire.
Forbes also told Our News this morning that the site is responsible for transmitting the 1540 AM frequency that covers The Bahamas, South Florida & the Caribbean. He added that the family islands are now in a vulnerable position because they depend on it, especially during the hurricane season.
