Billions For Rebuilding: Over 200 Schools Under Construction Post Melissa | TVJ News
Billions are being pumped into the rebuilding of schools damaged by Hurricane Melissa.
The Education Ministry will have 2.9 billion dollars to spend in the 2026/2027 fiscal year, up more than 100 million from last year.
During a quarterly press conference Thursday morning, the Education Transformation Oversight Committee (ETOC) said rebuilding continues, with more than 200 schools still being worked on nine months later.
