Butler: “We Feel That We’ve Given The Government Enough Time”
Taxi Cab Union President Tyrone Butler says the Union will ramp up efforts to address ongoing concerns with the government, noting that sufficient time has already been given for the issues to be addressed.
Butler made the comments during a press conference on Friday, where the Union announced its new partnership with Aqua Rides.
Among the Union’s key concerns is the rising cost of operations and its impact on taxi fares. In response, the Union is seeking a $5 increase in fares.
