CHOISEUL PIAYE EARN UNESCO TSUNAMI READY STATUS, SAINT LUCIA'S SECOND COMMUNITY
Choiseul and Piaye have joined Laborie as the only Saint Lucian communities certified by UNESCO-IOC as tsunami ready.
Their bid stood out for bringing people with disabilities into the planning, with a visually impaired resident taking part for the first time in the initiative’s history.
