DEPORTEE CHARGED UNDER COMPUTER MISUSE ACT
A Saint Lucian man who was deported from the United States three years ago after spending thirteen years behind bars there is now facing legal trouble at home. Police have charged the man in connection with threats allegedly made during a recent social media video that went viral. He was charged under the Computer Misuse Act and granted bail on Tuesday in the sum of $500, with an order not to post content violating the law while the matter is before the court.
