ECCO Distributes Over EC$1.7 Million to Songwriters and Music Publishers(SEPTEMBER 18TH, 2026)
Caribbean songwriters and music publishers are smiling a bit wider this week as the Eastern Caribbean Collective Organisation (ECCO) distributes over EC$1.7 million in royalty payments.
However, while ECCO CEO Martin James is celebrating the increased payout, he has issued a stern warning regarding widespread non-compliance among regional media houses and urged local creators to ensure their works are officially registered.
