Empowering Young Women Through The Emancipation Queen Show
Currline Cooper, Founder and President of the Rio Claro Sporting and Leisure Foundation, discusses the Miss Rio Claro/Mayaro Emancipation Queen Show 2026 under the theme ‘Breaking Chains, Building Queens’. She highlights the pageant’s role in celebrating African heritage, empowering young women and fostering leadership, confidence and community pride. The event takes place on Saturday 25th July 2026 at 7:00 p.m. at the Mayaro Resource Centre.
