Families of Teens Killed in Weekend Car Crash Hold Vigil
2 hours ago
It was a somber and emotional scene at the site of Sunday’s fatal car crash that took the lives of four teen girls. Their family and friends gathered at the crash site on Shirley Street to remember them. Stania Webb’s sister-in-law Cierra Nabbie was among the mourners. She described Webb as humble and an individual who was willing to encourage others.
Also at the scene was Betrica Brown’s brother and the uncle of Diamond Stubbs, Anthony Thompson, who reflected on the lives of both young women. He described the girls as talented and said that they only came to New Providence to get their student visas to study abroad.
Meanwhile, also at the vigil is Apostle Anthony Smith, who is a relative of Diamond Stubbs, and knows Betrica Brown as member of his church.
Smith reflected on the lives of the young women, and gave a message to the youth.
