FIVE WOMEN COMPETE FOR MISS 50-PLUS TITLE
Five women took the stage on Sunday to compete for the Miss 50-Plus title in an event celebrating the confidence, value and contributions of older women in Saint Lucia. The Ministry of Gender and Elderly Affairs says initiatives such as the pageant form part of broader efforts to empower older persons as work continues on a national policy for the ageing population.
