Government Defends Sovereign Wealth Fund Amid Board Appointment Scrutiny(SEPTEMBER 22ND, 2026)
Saint Lucia’s Economic Development Minister Hon. Wayne Girard has rejectesd recent criticisms that the island’s newly created Sovereign Wealth Fund is shrouded in secrecy.
Girard affirmed that a five member board has already been appointed and that the members’ names will be published in the Official Gazette within days.
