Governor General Her Excellency Cynthia Pratt gave her speech from the throne at the Atlantis Resort Convention Center Wednesday afternoon, for the Opening of Parliament.
During her speech, she elaborates on the choice of the Bahamian people, stating that the public “chose progress,” and that the election was historic because the Bahamian people have not voted a government in for a consecutive term since 1997.
