Long Island MP Andre Rollins challenged Energy Minister JoBeth Coleby-Davis in the House of Assembly on Wednesday, to publicly reveal how much Bahamians allegedly lost after the Davis administration ended BPL’s fuel hedging program in 2021.
Rollins argued that the government should fully account for the consequences of ending the hedge, which has been blamed for costing consumers an estimated “quarter of a billion dollars.”
