Man Shot And Killed Fire Trail East
Shortly before 10pm Wednesday evening, police received a report of a man who had been shot and was unresponsive in the vicinity of a business establishment.
Officers from the Southwestern Division responded to the scene, where they found the victim lying on the western side of the establishment, at the rear of a gold Nissan Tiida.
The victim, who was reportedly dressed in a white shirt and jeans, sustained multiple gunshot injuries to the upper body.
Emergency Medical Services personnel attended the scene and examined the victim, confirming that he showed no vital signs of life.
Initial information suggests that the victim was seated in the driver’s seat of the Nissan Tiida, with another man seated in the front passenger seat, when an armed male wearing a black hoodie approached the vehicle.
The victim reportedly exited the vehicle and attempted to flee westward. The suspect then discharged a firearm in his direction, fatally wounding him.
The suspect subsequently entered a white vehicle and fled the area in an unknown direction.
