Minister of Foreign and CARICOM Affairs Sean Sobers has defended Trinidad and Tobago’s decision to vote against a United Nations General Assembly resolution calling for an end to the United States embargo against Cuba, saying the move reflects the Government’s commitment to democracy, political freedom and human rights.
