Mixed Reactions To Pinewood Drainage Project
Drainage works began this morning on Sapodilla Boulevard in the Pinewood Gardens community, drawing mixed reactions from residents.
Dennis Rolle, who lives on Sapodilla Boulevard, described the project as a « comedy show, » arguing that once flooding begins, the Ministry of Works will be a no-show.
Another resident, however, welcomed the initiative, saying she is willing to wait and see how effective the drainage improvements are once the project is completed.
