News Bite: Peace March Across the Caribbean
Despite a curfew in Kingston’s Allman Town, a peace march organized by the International Peace Youth Group and partners showed that unity can foster peace. The event, now in its fourth year, involved youth mentors like Terry Salmon and received support from police and community leaders. It highlighted the power of regional cooperation and youth voices in promoting social cohesion. The march offers hope across the Caribbean that peace is achievable when communities come together.
