Outten Alleges Bats Found in Freeport Primary Classrooms as Teachers Report Health Issues
Bats are allegedly being found inside classrooms at Freeport Primary School, with teachers saying they’re experiencing health issues, according to the Grand Bahama Area Vice President of the Bahamas Educators, Counsellors and Allied Workers Union (BECAWU).
An assessment was conducted Tuesday by the Ministry of Education and union representatives to identify possible entry points and determine how the bats are getting inside the classrooms.
The situation has raised concerns about conditions at the school and the well-being of teachers and students.
