PHA Managing Director: “We Will Just Move Forward, Learn From These Lessons”
Public Hospitals Authority Managing Director Dr. Aubynette Rolle said this morning that the Authority does not plan to appeal a Supreme Court ruling that found Princess Margaret Hospital negligent in the death of a newborn girl after staff failed to monitor the baby and her mother for 27 minutes before an emergency C-section.
Dr. Rolle extended condolences to the family and said the ruling will serve as a lesson to help prevent a similar tragedy from happening again.
