PLP Chairman Blames FNM For Power Woes
PLP Chairman Fred Mitchell says the party’s “best brains and muscle” are working to resolve the country’s ongoing power grid issues, while blaming the former Free National Movement administration for inheriting what he described as a system “in a state of collapse.”
In a voice note released Wednesday, Mitchell responded to criticism from FNM Chairman Dr. Duane Sands, who on Monday faulted the government over the power grid failures experienced during the past week.
Mitchell argued that the previous FNM administration failed to address longstanding problems with the grid while in office and is now criticizing the current government for issues it inherited.
