PM, UNC Members Pay Final Respects To Councillor Vashti Sookhoo
Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar paid tribute to late United National Congress Councillor Vashti Sookhoo, who passed away on Tuesday.
The Prime Minister, Government Ministers, councillors and members of the UNC joined family and friends in paying their final respects.
Ms Sookhoo represented the Reform/Manahambre electoral district.
Councillor Sookhoo was remembered as a dedicated public servant and a patriot whose years of commitment left a lasting impact on both her community and the nation.
