POLICE URGE PUBLIC TO STOP SHARING CHECKPOINT LOCATIONS
Police are urging the public to refrain from using instant messaging platforms to share the locations of police checkpoints. Assistant Superintendent Terry Bradley, who is in charge of the Special Services Unit, says that while the intention may be to warn a friend, sharing checkpoint locations could allow criminals to avoid capture.
