Prime Minister Dr Andrew Holness has reminded insurance firms about their responsibility to their clients in the aftermath of disasters.
He stressed that payouts must be swift to people, including those who suffered during Hurricane Melissa.
He was speaking at the NHT Malvern housing development handing-over ceremony.
