Renewed Appeals for GCT to be Removed from Eggs | TVJ News
With less than two months to go before Christmas, egg farmers are renewing calls for the Government to remove General Consumption Tax, or GCT, on eggs.
The appeal comes as the egg industry rebounds following Hurricane Melissa.
But as we’ll hear in this report, farmers say the tax is affecting both egg consumption and production.
