SAINT LUCIA RANKS NEAR BOTTOM OF ECCU FOR FINANCIAL LITERACY
New data from the Eastern Caribbean Central Bank has placed Saint Lucia near the bottom of the ECCU for financial literacy, including the lowest levels of basic financial knowledge and prudent money-management behavior in the union. The Bankers Association of Saint Lucia is now calling for stronger financial education, particularly among young people, to help prepare them for sound financial decision-making.
