SENATE MARATHON BEGINS: TWO OPPOSITION SENATORS SWORN IN, TAX RELIEF, BORROWING
The Senate chamber was the scene of intense debate today as senators considered a packed agenda that included millions of dollars in government borrowing, tax relief measures and a series of legislative amendments.
The sitting, expected to be a marathon session because of the large number of bills on the order paper, began with the swearing-in of two opposition senators, Leo Titus Preville and Dominic Fedee.
