Baha Mar is responding to calls from Bahamas Power & Light (BPL) for businesses to help reduce strain on the national power grid amid recent outages in New Providence.
Baha Mar Government and External Affairs Senior Vice President Robert “Sandy” Sands says BPL’s request for corporate Bahamas to utilize standby generation when the grid is challenged is nothing new, adding that it is part of being a good corporate citizen for Baha Mar to give back and assist.
