Simeon Road Residents Celebrate Football League Victory
For Simeon Road FC, their 3-0 victory over Wolfpack Icons to become the inaugural champions of the East West Corridor Football League was about far more than a trophy, a title, or the cash prize.
It was a victory for an entire community.
After Sunday’s final, TTT Sport spoke with residents of Simeon Road, Petit Valley, who said the EWCFL triumph gave the area a renewed sense of pride, unity and belief, proving that their small community could stand tall on the biggest stage.
