Six Arrested As SOE Operations Net Firearms And Drugs
Six people have been arrested and three firearms, ammunition, narcotics and contraband seized during ongoing State of Emergency operations across several police divisions.
According to police, Officers recovered an AR-15 rifle, a Beretta pistol and another loaded handgun, along with more than a kilogramme of cannabis, cannabis plants, illegal cigarettes, alcohol and camouflage clothing.
The arrests were made in connection with firearm, drug and other criminal offences during coordinated exercises in Tunapuna, Maloney, El Dorado, Arouca, Morvant and surrounding communities.
