Gas prices in The Bahamas are nearing $8 per gallon as the ongoing conflict in the Middle East continues to impact global trade.
Bahamian residents are feeling the pressure at the pumps, with prices continuing to rise thousands of miles from the conflict.
President of the Bahamas Petroleum Retailers Association Vasco Bastian says the industry is currently “in a wait and see mode,” with little the Association can do at this time.
