Tavares-Finson Welcomes Privy Council Visa Process | Midday News
Government Senator Christian Tavares-Finson is welcoming the new, free and streamlined visa process for Commonwealth citizens travelling to London for Judicial Committee of the Privy Council proceedings.
He says the initiative is timely and could ease the financial burden on Jamaicans seeking justice at the country’s highest appellate court.
Tavares-Finson is also urging the Opposition People’s National Party to support Jamaica’s move toward republican status, including giving the people a say in the country’s final court of appeal.
