Tax Residency certificate
The Bahamas is introducing its first Tax Residency Certificate and a new Bahamas Invest Concierge Service, aimed at streamlining the investment approval process.
Minister of Economic Affairs, Sen. Jerome Fitzgerald, made the announcement at the STEP LATAM Conference in Brazil, saying individuals may qualify for the certificate by spending at least 90 days in The Bahamas during a calendar year.
The Bahamas Invest Concierge Service will provide investors with a single point of contact throughout the investment approval process.
