The Ministry of Urban Renewal and the National Training Agency hosted a job training workshop for persons with disabilities Wednesday at the Andre Rodgers Baseball Stadium in preparation for the Disability Job Fair on August 6.
Minister of Urban Renewal Lisa Rahming said the workshop is designed to equip participants ahead of the upcoming job fair.
President of The Bahamas Alliance for the Blind and Visually Impaired, Stefan Pitt, said he hopes the initiative creates new opportunities for persons with disabilities.
