The Trinidad and Tobago Manufacturers’ Association (TTMA) is advancing efforts to strengthen trade and investment relations between Trinidad and Tobago and Venezuela following a meeting with representatives from Sucre State, Venezuela, who are currently in Trinidad and Tobago for trade-related discussions.
The meeting focused on identifying opportunities to deepen commercial ties between the two territories, with particular emphasis on expanding market access, facilitating the exchange of goods and services, and creating new avenues for investment and business collaboration.
As part of its ongoing commitment to facilitate international trade and expand opportunities for its members, the TTMA also reaffirmed its plan to lead a trade delegation to Venezuela in August 2027.
The proposed delegation is expected to provide participating businesses with opportunities to explore the Venezuelan market, establish new commercial relationships, and identify areas for mutually beneficial trade and investment.
