The Trinidad and Tobago Police Service says it is fully committed to the implementation of Body-Worn Cameras, describing the technology as a key tool in strengthening transparency, accountability and professionalism within the organisation.
Via a media release, the TTPS says it is actively advancing plans to procure and deploy body-worn cameras across the organisation.
To that end, the Service has issued an Expression of Interest for qualified firms to supply and commission body-worn camera systems.
The submission deadline has been set for July 22nd, 2026, after which selected firms will be invited to participate in the formal bidding process.
It says the initiative forms part of the broader transformation agenda aimed at building a more transparent, accountable and technology-driven Police Service.
