U.S. Ambassador Responds To House Speaker’s Dismissal Of Eric Gardiner Allegations

U.S. Ambassador to The Bahamas Herschel Walker responded yesterday to House Speaker Patricia Deveaux’s dismissal of allegations listed in a US Federal Affidavit… saying “wait and see.”
In parliament this week, the speaker called the claims “frivolous” and “malicious gossip.” During a press conference in Grand Bahama… Walker also told reporters it’s an open investigation and says he doesn’t want to say anything that can hurt either side.
The criminal complaint, filed in the Southern District of New York, identifies Eric “Playa” Gardiner as a suspected drug trafficker. He was taken into U.S. custody following the May 12th election day plane crash involving 11 Bahamians in waters off of Florida.
