Urban Renewal & Southern Division Officers Conduct Walkabout In Fort Charlotte
Officers within the Urban Renewal Division in collaboration with officers from the Southern Division conducted a walkabout in the Fort Charlotte community on Monday.
Following Sunday’s murder that has left the the Fort Charlotte community stunned, Officer in Charge of Community Police Service & Urban Renewal, Chief Supt. Darvy Pratt says that the community is quiet and that one murder is a cause of concern.
Additionally, a resident from the Fort Charlotte community recounts the country’s latest homicide, telling Our News that she knew the victim very well. She also spoke highly of the community, but says measures such as residents having cameras for their homes will be good for the community.
