UWP Questions Gonsalves’ Role As Guest Speaker At Historic Commemoration(OCTOBER 14TH, 2026)
The selection of former St. Vincent and the Grenadines Prime Minister Dr. Ralph Gonsalves as guest speaker for Saint Lucia’s 75th anniversary of universal adult suffrage has drawn criticism from the United Workers Party, which questions his connection to the historic achievement. Former Prime Minister Dr. Kenny D. Anthony, however, has praised Gonsalves’ academic credentials and expertise.
