H20 REPAIRS [17TH SEPTEMBER 2026] – Saint Lucia is moving to strengthen the reliability of its water supply with a major $22.8 million investment in critical infrastructure connected to the John Compton Dam. The Raw Water Pipeline Replacement Project, officially launched earlier today as the country’s Ninth Water Project, will replace a key component responsible for transporting raw water from the dam. Officials say the investment forms part of broader efforts to modernise the national water system, improve resilience and strengthen long-term water security.
