Improving Luweero women’s economic situation - Direct Aid Uganda donates 60 sewing machines

Minister of state for Luweero-Rwenzori Triangle, Alice Kaboyo, urges women of Luweero not to be complacent with the aid provided, but to strive to see that they use what they have to develop themselves. Ms. Kaboyo was presiding over a handover function of sixty sewing machines from Direct Aid, a non-governmental organization, to Luweero women after completing a four-month training course in tailoring. The event took place at Kibisi-Nganjo, Wobulenzi, Luweero District.
