President speaks on kit donation

President of the Barbados Royals Girls Cricket Club Roland Butcher spoke about the social benefits that he hopes will come out of this morning’s kit distribution thanks to DP World, an official sponsor of this year’s Men’s T20 World Cup. For every 100 runs scored by a team in this summer’s World Cup, 10 cricket kits were donated by DP World. That meant that 23 recipients (primary schools & cricket academies) were at Friendship Playing Field this morning to receive their donated kit. (Video by Jonteau Coppin)
