Putin warns West it risks “fighting Russia” if it lets Ukraine use long-range missiles | BBC News
Russia’s President Putin has warned that the United States and European countries would be “directly participating” in the war in Ukraine if they lift restrictions on it using long-range missiles to strike Russian territory. He said that would change the nature of the conflict and mean the US and other NATO countries were “fighting with Russia”. Mr Putin has repeatedly warned in the past that Russia could escalate the conflict and might use nuclear weapons if its security was threatened.
